Dr RICHARD GEARRY MBChB, PhD, FRACP
Consultant Gastroenterologist and Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the Christchurch School of Medicine with a major clinical and research background in luminal gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel disease, IBS and coeliac disease. He trained in Christchurch and Melbourne and has experience in the oversight and reporting of hydrogen and methane breath tests and the role of dietary intervention in the management of gastrointestinal disorders.
Dr BRUCE CHAPMAN: MBChB, FRACP
Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 20 years experience in clinical gastroenterology. He has a number of gastroenterology research publications including breath testing. His clinical interests include, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, small bowel capsule endoscopy, malabsorption and liver disease.
Dr BRUCE DOBBS: BSc, MSc, PhD
Scientific Officer in gastroenterology and surgery, Christchurch Hospital; trained in chemistry and biochemistry. He has been involved in biomedical research for over 25 years and has extensive experience in diagnostic testing in gastroenterology including gastrointestinal motility, capsule endoscopy and pH testing for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.
Ms CLARICE HEBBLETHWAITE: BSc (Hons) Dietetics and Nutrition
NZ and UK Registered Dietitian
Dietitian specialising for over 12 years in dietary management of digestive health. Clarice is particularly interested food intolerance and helping people make realistic and practical dietary changes with confidence.
